French artist Ravage Sentimental mesmerizes and enchants in her new EP Michel, which features two original track drenched in distant melancholy as well as two Kasper Bjørke versions ready for the floor, as well as a remix from dark disco aficionado Autarkic.

The EP is an homage brought to the artist’s brother Michel, known by some as the 90s stalwart DJ Miloch, whose music has left an indelible mark on Ravage Sentimental’s work as she soulfully croons “your shadow on my soul”. Blooming Day, the second original track is a gentle nod and reminder towards grateful moments in the artist’s life looking and sounding as simple as the nature blooming along. Electronic scene veteran Kasper Bjørke reinterprets the title track into two versions, a lively, melodic Vocal version, as well as a deeper-set, trancier Robot Version. Autarkic rewires Michel into a dusty, spaced out exploration that’s both deeply entrancing and slow dance-inducing.
